As we usher in a new year, we are thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2023 Palo Alto Networks Partner Awards, recognizing partners who have shown an unwavering commitment to innovative cybersecurity solutions.

NextWave Partner of the Year — Presidio

Recognized for their exceptional contributions to our partnership, we present Presidio with the Global and North America NextWave Partner of the Year. In 2023, Presidio played a pivotal role in sourcing 77% YOY bookings growth, ultimately delivering millions in closed-won revenue across the complete Palo Alto Networks product portfolio.

Distributor of the Year — TD Synnex

Congratulations to TD SYNNEX, named Global and North America Distributor of the Year. In 2023, their outstanding commitment to the partnership resulted in the highest growth among their peers in net new logos and total new deal registration bookings growth year-over-year, achieving impressive growth and demonstrating exceptional operational efficiency.

Systems Integrator of the Year — Accenture

Next up, we honor Accenture as the Global and North America Systems Integrator of the Year, recognizing their outstanding contributions to our partnership.

In 2023, Accenture achieved 71% YOY bookings growth worldwide and 56% growth in North America. They demonstrated a commitment to joint innovation by delivering integrated Prisma SASE solutions to help organizations improve cyber resilience, and by driving proactive joint engagement that resulted in multi-million-dollar net new logo acquisitions for Palo Alto Networks.

Service Providers of the Year — BT & CBTS

We congratulate BT in the Global Service Provider of the Year category, whose commitment to security excellence has earned them this prestigious accolade. Since partnering with Palo Alto Networks, BT has strongly emphasized advancing their professional services capabilities and expertise. To recognize their unwavering commitment to security excellence, BT was recently distinguished with the prestigious Certified Professional Services Partner (CPSP) Award.

Additionally, CBTS takes the stage as the North America Service Provider of the Year – a distinction achieved through their commitment to and support of our joint customers in the United States and Canada. CBTS prioritized the enablement of these customers by launching a managed Prisma SASE solution designed to empower organizations in building a modern, easily scalable network environment. CBTS also achieved NextWave Diamond Partner status, highlighting their dedication to excellence in working with Palo Alto Networks.

Cloud Service Providers of the Year — Google Cloud & AWS

Google Cloud is recognized as the Global Cloud Service Provider of the Year. Its continued performance with Palo Alto Networks is highlighted by an unparalleled dedication to supporting customer cloud journeys with an array of jointly engineered and integrated security solutions that enable digital innovation with ease. This is illustrated most recently with the release of Cloud Firewall Plus, which integrates Palo Alto Networks threat prevention technology with Google Cloud’s distributed firewall to provide a powerful offering for customers. From there, the partnership commitment extends into customer engagement, providing a collaborative approach for go-to-market strategies and procurement operations. This exceptional model has generated significant bookings and a remarkable growth of 283% year-over-year.

In North America, AWS has been recognized as Cloud Service Provider of the Year for 2023, a testament to its unwavering commitment to excellence. The ongoing collaboration with Palo Alto Networks has improved clients' cloud migrations through a diverse range of jointly-developed and seamlessly-integrated security solutions. The alliance between Palo Alto Networks and AWS showcases a dedication at all business levels, including marketing strategy, go-to-market, sales execution and generative AI investments. Throughout 2023, AWS significantly expanded its presence across all GTM segments within the Palo Alto Networks business, achieving substantial year-over-year growth and securing the highest category bookings in North America.

Technology Partners of the Year — HashiCorp & Okta

HashiCorp is recognized as the Global Technology Partner of the Year for their continued investment in product engineering integrations and for helping our mutual customers build knowledge to successfully achieve outcomes. Our shared engineering is delivered across multiple Palo Alto Networks product portfolios, including Prisma Cloud, Strata and Cortex. This has allowed the partnership to produce hands-on workshops that have helped thousands of enterprises learn how to embed security in their cloud-native projects. The HashiCorp and Palo Alto Networks product and engineering teams work together daily to share feedback from mutual customers, enabling us to plan and build solutions that benefit our global customers.

Innovation is at the heart of what we do, and Okta’s recognition as the Global Technology Partner Innovator of the Year reflects their exceptional contributions to our joint success. We have cross portfolio integrations with Okta across our speedboats and have over 1800 joint customers. Our product and engineering teams are working across multiple areas that are key for our joint customers to achieve a Zero Trust security posture, continuing to invest and innovate with Okta.

Cortex Partners of the Year — Google Cloud & CDW

Google Cloud is being acknowledged as the Global Cortex Partner of the Year, due to its dedication and partnership with Palo Alto Networks to reimagine security operations for better customer outcomes. With a bold vision for revolutionizing the SOC, Google Cloud has been an integral partner in delivering XSIAM and the extended Cortex portfolio to customers, empowering security teams with AI-driven automation for threat detection, incident investigation and response. The commitment from Google Cloud towards this solution innovation and go-to-market excellence has been an integral part of the overall success.

In North America, CDW is celebrated as the Cortex Partner of the Year. In 2023, CDW was named a Palo Alto Networks Cortex eXtended Managed Detection and Response (XMDR) Specialization partner. The new designation enables CDW to add the power of Cortex XDR to the company’s robust managed services offering to help customers worldwide streamline security operations center (SOC) processes and quickly mitigate cyber threats.

CDW was also honored in 2023 as the Regional Authorized Training Partner of the Year for the Americas! This recognition highlights CDW's unwavering commitment to delivering top-notch classroom education and empowering students to proficiently navigate the entire suite of Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Prisma Cloud Partner of the Year — AWS & Optiv

AWS has also been named Global Prisma Cloud Partner of the Year in recognition of their outstanding contributions to our collaborative efforts. Throughout 2023, AWS has been pivotal in co-launching several Prisma Cloud integrations, including Amazon Security Lake and AWS Identity and Access Management. Their unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence has significantly enhanced our partnership and solidified AWS as a key player in our joint success.

In recognition of their exceptional contributions in North America, Optiv has secured the esteemed Prisma Cloud Partner of the Year title. Embracing our collective vision of code-to-cloud security, Optiv has ascended to the top as our leading partner in cloud revenue, delivering unmatched expertise in Prisma Cloud services. Their comprehensive offerings span cloud assessments, implementation, health checks and expert cloud integrations.

SASE Partners of the Year — Verizon & NTT

Recognized for their commitment to growth and success, Verizon has been named Global SASE Partner of the Year. Verizon has demonstrated a strong commitment to our SASE initiatives, displaying genuine interest and a proactive approach to growth. Their enthusiastic willingness to make substantial investments in Palo Alto Networks underscores their dedication to achieving joint success.

Finally, we acknowledge NTT as the North America SASE Partner of the Year. Throughout 2023, NTT strengthened its collaboration with Palo Alto Networks by introducing Managed Networks with Prisma SASE (Secure Access Service Edge). This comprehensive managed service offering proved highly successful, closing millions in SASE revenue.
